UK extends half-price rail travel to 18-year-olds with 16-17 Saver railcard

The UK's 16-17 Saver railcard, which gives half-price rail travel, is being extended so that holders can use it up until the day before they turn 18. The change expands access to discounted travel for young passengers. Previously the card expired before the holder reached 18.
