Larry Berg named next MLS commissioner, replacing Don Garber

Larry Berg has been named the next commissioner of Major League Soccer, succeeding long-serving commissioner Don Garber. The transition will take place next year. Berg will sell his ownership stake in Los Angeles FC before assuming the role.
