WestJet strike ends after airline reaches deal with 4,400 flight attendants

Canadian airline WestJet reached a tentative deal with its flight attendants early Monday morning, ending a strike that had begun the day before. Some 4,400 cabin crew members had walked off the job, forcing the cancellation of hundreds of flights. The agreement was reached after overnight negotiations.
