Fritz wins ATP Washington title, knocking out Majchrzak along the way

American Taylor Fritz won the ATP tournament in Washington, defeating Spain's Rafael Jodar in straight sets in the final. Seeded third, Fritz had earlier eliminated Poland's Kamil Majchrzak. The victory came on home soil for the American player.
