Two people in Michigan have died from Cyclospora cayetanensis infection, the first deaths recorded in any ongoing U.S. Cyclospora outbreak. Since early May, more than 11,000 people in the state have been infected and 193 hospitalised. The outbreak has been linked to iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico.
