Ukraine exports electricity to Romania as river drought threatens nuclear plant

Romania has begun importing electricity from Ukraine while its military prepares to blast rocks in the Danube River to maintain water levels for its only operational nuclear reactor. Drought, not Russian strikes, is now the bigger threat to the region's energy supply. Hungary's sole nuclear plant, Paks, has already halted operations due to the same low-water conditions.
