EU AI Act: labelling AI content mandatory from August 2, fines up to €15 million

From 2 August 2026, companies, media outlets and content creators will be required to label AI-generated content under the next stage of the EU's AI Act. Fines for concealing the AI origin of images or videos can reach the equivalent of 65 million Polish zloty. The rules are designed to help users distinguish human-made content from machine-generated material.
