Polish government drops plan to make free tap water mandatory in restaurants

The Polish government is dropping a proposal that would have required restaurants to serve free tap water to customers. The plan faced criticism from some restaurateurs as well as MPs within the ruling coalition. Despite the reversal, many restaurants already offer free tap water voluntarily.
