WhatsApp restoring accounts mistakenly locked and placed under review

Meta announced it is fixing an issue that caused numerous WhatsApp accounts to be mistakenly flagged and placed "under review," locking users out unexpectedly. The company said it is restoring access to all affected accounts. Users had reported being suddenly unable to access the messaging app.
