Eala beats Pegula 4:6, 6:4, 6:0 to win WTA500 title in Washington

Alexandra Eala of the Philippines won the WTA500 tournament in Washington, defeating top seed Jessica Pegula 4:6, 6:4, 6:0 in the final. Eala had previously eliminated Iga Świątek at Wimbledon before claiming this title in Washington.
