Doctor who reported hospital irregularities in Mikołów fired nine days later
The head of the internal medicine ward at a hospital in Mikołów was dismissed nine days after Wirtualna Polska published an article about irregularities at the facility. He received his notice immediately after completing a 24-hour shift. The hospital's director denies any connection to the publications, but MP Paweł Jabłoński called it retaliation and announced a parliamentary inspection of the local starosty.
