Fuel prices in Russia's Krasnoyarsk Region suddenly dropped by more than 20 roubles ahead of Vladimir Putin's visit to the area. Independent outlet Meduza linked the price cuts to Putin's arrival, noting that similar price "miracles" have occurred before his visits to other Russian regions. Local authorities attributed the drop to new fuel deliveries.
