Kamila: 100,000 Polish women share a name that means "camel" in Bulgarian

The name Kamila is borne by more than 100,000 women in Poland and has remained consistently popular over the years. Interestingly, in Bulgarian the word "kamila" means camel and is not used as a personal name. It is one of many examples of identical-sounding words carrying entirely different meanings across languages.
