Large Warsaw-listed companies must ensure women hold at least 33% of board seats
The president signed into law a bill implementing the EU's Women on Boards directive, dispelling fears among supporters and hopes among opponents that it would be vetoed. Large companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange must now ensure that women make up at least 33% of their governing bodies. Experts are advising firms to begin compliance work as soon as possible.
