Russian missile exploded in Poland — Ukrainian pilot turned back 20 seconds from border
In the night of 29–30 July, a Russian missile violated Polish airspace and exploded in the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia in Lublin province. A Ukrainian fighter jet had pursued the missile but was forced to turn back approximately 20 seconds before reaching the Polish border. Ukraine had attempted to destroy the missile before it crossed into Polish territory, but failed to intercept it.
