GCAP next-gen fighter jet could enter service ahead of schedule — at a cost

Leonardo CEO Lorenzo Mariani believes the introduction of next-generation GCAP fighter jets into service could be accelerated. The acceleration would, however, come at an additional financial cost. GCAP is a joint programme between the UK, Italy and Japan designed to replace the Eurofighter Typhoon and F-2 aircraft.
