Ukraine names Bodnar and Zvarych — both ex-ambassadors to Poland — as deputy foreign ministers

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the appointment of two new deputy foreign ministers for Ukraine. They are Vasyl Bodnar, the outgoing Ukrainian ambassador to Poland, and Vasyl Zvarych, a former ambassador to Poland who currently serves as ambassador to the Czech Republic. Both diplomats are well known in Warsaw, which may facilitate Ukrainian-Polish cooperation.
