Russia's Il-20 intercepted over Baltic 60 km from Łeba, Polish jets scrambled

A Polish duty pair of fighter jets scrambled and intercepted a Russian Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea before noon, Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported. The incident took place 60 kilometres north-west of the town of Łeba. The Russian aircraft remained in international airspace and did not breach Polish borders.
