Polish jets intercept Russian Il-20 reconnaissance plane over the Baltic

Polish duty aircraft intercepted a Russian Il-20 reconnaissance plane over the Baltic Sea before noon, Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced. The incident occurred 60 kilometres north-west of Łeba. Polish airspace was not violated — the aircraft remained in international airspace throughout.
