Aung San Suu Kyi meets Red Cross rep in first foreign contact since

Myanmar's military junta has allowed a Red Cross representative to visit detained former civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi, her first confirmed contact with a foreign official since the coup. The 81-year-old has been held under arrest since the military seized power. Her prolonged absence from public view had raised serious concerns about her health.
