Drones and economic uncertainty are ending Russians' summer holiday boom
Economic uncertainty and the threat of Ukrainian drone strikes are dramatically changing how Russians plan their summer holidays, with fewer and fewer citizens able to afford a trip away. The tourism sector in Russia is facing a serious downturn as a result of the combined pressures of war and economic instability. One Russian resident said: "I'm worried about income — only a few people can go anywhere."
