Polish government drops controversial PIT and CIT changes — housing relief and IP Box rules scrapped

Poland's Ministry of Finance has significantly scaled back its planned amendments to personal and corporate income tax laws, dropping the provisions that most alarmed businesses. Removed measures include changes to the housing tax relief, the IP Box preferential rate, and new rules on taxing assets transferred to family members after lease buy-outs. Some tax changes remain in the draft, but the most controversial elements have been withdrawn.
