Iran contradicts Trump: no negotiations taking place with the US

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman flatly denied Donald Trump's claims that negotiations between Tehran and Washington are underway. The two countries have been in a state of war since 28 February, when the US and Israel launched surprise strikes against Iran. Despite on-and-off diplomacy leading to periods of relative calm, Iran insists no direct talks with the US are taking place.
