UOKiK fines AGCO and dealers 136 million zloty for 11-year price-fixing cartel
Poland's competition authority UOKiK has fined agricultural machinery manufacturer and distributor AGCO, eight of its dealers and five managers a total of nearly 136 million zloty. They were found to have divided the market among themselves and exchanged price information, causing farmers to overpay for tractors and combine harvesters for 11 years. It is one of the largest antitrust penalties ever imposed in Poland's agricultural sector.
