Karolina Szczepaniak aborts Baltic Sea swim after 58 hours in the water

Polish Olympian Karolina Szczepaniak made her second attempt to swim across the Baltic Sea, spending 58 hours in the water before being forced to stop for reasons not yet specified. Last year, bad weather ended her first bid. During the effort she raised nearly half a million złoty for a 14-year-old in need. Bartłomiej Kubkowski remains the only person to have completed the full Baltic crossing.
