Justice Ministry plans harsher penalties for drunk drivers who ignore court bans

Poland's Ministry of Justice has drafted amendments to the Criminal Code and the Code of Petty Offences that would tighten penalties for drunk drivers who continue to drive despite a court-imposed ban. The government says the move is aimed at closing a legal loophole exploited by repeat offenders. The draft is currently being processed by the government.
