Wonder Man showrunner: season 2 cancellation is not a marketing stunt
Andrew Guest, showrunner of Marvel and Disney+'s Wonder Man, confirmed that the cancellation of season 2 is neither a marketing trick nor a plan to turn the project into a film. Preparations for the second season were well advanced — contracts had been signed with director Destin Daniel Cretton, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley, and writers were about to begin work. Guest also denied that Cretton's busy schedule, including directing Spider-Man: Brand New Day, was behind the decision.
