Aung San Suu Kyi meets Red Cross delegate for first time since 2021 coup

Myanmar's military junta announced that detained former leader Aung San Suu Kyi met with a Red Cross representative on Monday. It is the first publicly acknowledged meeting between the Nobel laureate and a foreign representative since the military coup in February 2021. Her family had previously demanded proof that she was still alive.
