Cuba suffers sixth nationwide blackout of the year

Cuba experienced another total grid failure late Sunday evening, plunging the island of roughly 10 million people into darkness. It was the sixth such nationwide blackout this year, with three occurring in July alone, according to Reuters. Power outages have become increasingly frequent across the island.
