Bodies left to decompose at Warsaw's Banacha hospital morgue; prosecutors investigate
Bodies of deceased patients at Warsaw's Banacha hospital were left in the morgue so long that they underwent advanced decomposition, according to Onet's investigation. In July, prosecutors launched a probe after reports that relatives were being pressured to use the services of a specific private funeral home. The same private company turns out to be responsible for both storing bodies in the morgue and offering funeral services.
