One in three Poles would blame Nawrocki for higher fuel prices, poll shows
A poll by SW Research for rp.pl found that one in three Poles believe President Karol Nawrocki would bear responsibility for rising fuel prices if he refers the windfall-profits fuel tax bill to the Constitutional Tribunal. The law covers extraordinary profits from fuel sales between March and December 2026. The remaining two-thirds of respondents do not share that view, revealing a clear divide in public opinion on the new president's actions.
