Wildfires destroy 600+ structures in Spokane, forcing 60,000 to evacuate

Three separate wildfires erupted in and around Spokane in eastern Washington state, destroying at least 600 homes, businesses and other structures. Strong winds and extremely dry conditions drove rapid fire spread across the area. Authorities ordered roughly 60,000 residents to evacuate.
