Germany calls EU external border protection an "absolute priority" after Ceuta crisis

Following the crisis at the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, Germany has called on the European Commission to make protection of the EU's external borders an absolute priority. Berlin issued its position clearly in response to the migration crisis at the border with Morocco.
