Iran announced that negotiations with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz are in their final stages. The announcement came after Donald Trump said the US would hold off on new strikes against Iran in hopes of reaching a quick deal. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical oil-shipping chokepoints.
