Michigan Supreme Court allows probe into Eli Lilly insulin pricing
Michigan's Supreme Court ruled 4-3 on Friday that state Attorney General Dana Nessel may proceed with an investigation into Eli Lilly's insulin pricing practices. The probe, which began four years ago, centres on allegations that Lilly artificially inflated prices for three insulin products — Lispro, Humalog and Basaglar. The state claims patients were forced to ration or forgo insulin, with some suffering serious disability or death as a result.
