Czarnek attacks government over Wrocław stabbing; interior ministry fires back
PiS candidate for prime minister Przemysław Czarnek accused Donald Tusk and Włodzimierz Czarzasty of keeping a bill on effective deportation of law-breaking foreigners "in the freezer", following a knife attack by a Ukrainian man on a woman in Wrocław. Interior Ministry spokeswoman Karolina Gałecka shot back, asking "Are you joking?" and confirmed the attacker was detained immediately after the incident. The ministry insisted that foreigners who break the law are promptly deported.
