Heatwave returns to Poland — century-old temperature record under threat again

After a brief cool spell, Poland is set to be gripped by intense heat again mid-week, with temperatures well above 30°C in many regions. Meteorologist Tomasz Wasilewski of tvnmeteo.pl warns that the temperature record broken in Słubice at the end of June — a record that stood for 105 years — could be beaten again. Conditions are shaping up to rival or exceed that historic high.
