Indonesian ferry fire kills 5, leaves 41 missing at sea

A fire broke out aboard the Mutiara Sentosa 2 ferry as it sailed from Surabaya in East Java to Makassar in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. At least 5 people were killed and 41 remain missing, while 225 passengers and crew were rescued. Some passengers jumped into the sea to escape the blaze, according to Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency, Basarnas.
