Pope Leo XIV expresses alarm over the humanitarian crisis in Ceuta

Pope Leo XIV said on Sunday that he is following the alarming situation in Ceuta with great concern. The pontiff addressed the crisis in which tens of thousands of migrants crossed from Morocco into the small Spanish exclave in North Africa. Spanish authorities have said that most of those who arrived have already returned to Morocco.
