72 dead after 60,000 migrants storm Spanish enclave of Ceuta

Around 60,000 migrants crossed into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on the Moroccan border within 48 hours, leaving at least 72 people dead. Most migrants have since returned to Morocco. The Spanish government admitted it had no warning of the surge and deployed thousands of soldiers to the border in response.
