Poland Faces Skills Gap as Too Few Graduates Choose Technical Degrees, PIE Warns
Analysts at the Polish Economic Institute (PIE) warn that while Poland has a higher share of specialists in employment than the EU average, universities are producing too many social-science graduates at the expense of technical and engineering disciplines. This mismatch between higher education output and labour market needs could hamper the development of a modern economy.
