57% of Drivers Fear Costly Breakdowns from Car Electronics, Survey Finds
A survey titled "Behind the Wheel of Innovation" found that 57% of drivers fear that the growing number of electronic systems in modern cars could lead to expensive failures. Respondents also flagged concerns about the risk of hackers taking control of their vehicles, as well as frustration with subscription-based features and touchscreens replacing physical controls.
