Polish Fruit Harvest to Drop 18.6% in 2026, GUS Estimates

Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) estimates that tree fruit production will fall by over 18% in 2026 compared to the previous year, with total yields around 3.4 million tonnes. Apple and raspberry crops suffered the heaviest losses, while only currants recorded growth. Ground vegetable production is also forecast to drop by nearly 10%.
