Firewood prices set to rise — cubic metre currently from 200 PLN

Firewood prices in Poland are beginning to climb ahead of the heating season, varying by species, preparation level and point of sale. Raw hardwood bought directly from a sawmill or forestry unit starts at around 200 PLN per cubic metre, while seasoned and cut wood can cost twice as much. Experts advise stocking up now before autumn price increases kick in.
