Israeli strikes kill eight overnight in Gaza after Hamas ceasefire signal

Israeli airstrikes hit several residential buildings in Gaza overnight, killing at least eight people, local authorities said Sunday. Seven more were killed in strikes on Saturday. The attacks came a day after Hamas announced it had agreed to the latest proposed deal to end the war.
