Bassist of Quebec folk-rock band Cowboys Fringants named province's Chief Scientist

Jérôme Dupras, bassist of one of Quebec's most popular folk-rock bands Cowboys Fringants, has been appointed the province's Chief Scientist. In the role, he will help shape Quebec's environmental policy. Dupras combines his music career with scientific work.
