Israeli overnight strikes kill at least 8 in Gaza despite Hamas ceasefire deal agreement

Israel carried out overnight strikes in Gaza killing at least eight people, including a married couple struck in their apartment and an elderly man and a child killed in a separate attack. Earlier on Saturday, at least seven more people were killed in strikes that also damaged medical supplies at a hospital. The attacks came after Hamas announced it had agreed to the latest stage of a ceasefire deal aimed at ending the war.
