EU mandates AI content labelling — new rules take effect Sunday

The first provisions of the EU's Artificial Intelligence Act on transparency entered into force on Sunday. Users must now be informed when they are interacting with an AI system, and all AI-generated content must be labelled as such. This marks the first stage of the EU AI Act coming into effect across member states.
