24-year-old's AI fund collapses from $45bn to $10bn after tech stock rout
The fund run by 24-year-old Leopold Aschenbrenner, once hailed as a symbol of the AI boom, has shrunk from $45 billion to approximately $10 billion following a sharp sell-off in tech stocks and margin calls. The losses amount to roughly $35 billion. Aschenbrenner had previously been dubbed the "Nostradamus of AI" on Wall Street.
