Sony reassures physical retailers they matter despite ditching game discs

Sony responded to concerns from physical retailers after announcing it would end game discs for PlayStation, stating that its retail partners of 30 years have always been very important to the company. The firm did not, however, provide specific plans on how it intends to support stores following the move away from physical media.
